1. Construct circle A.
2. Use the object properties window to change the color of the circle and the line style.
3. Construct a semicircle, a minor arc, and a major arc. Give a definition of each.
4. Are your minor arc and major arc adjacent arcs? How would you find the measure of adjacent arcs?

 

III. Arc Length

1. Find the length of arc ABC given that the measure of angle COA is 146 degrees and OA =3 cm.

 

IV. Sectors

1. Find the area of sector EOD given that the measure of angle EOD is 95 degrees and OE =3 cm.

 

V. Segments of Circles

1. Find the area of the shaded segment given that the measure of angle EOD is 95 degrees and OE =3 cm.
